We recently set up a fashion photography photo shoot with my daughter Holly Mandarich and her friend Heather Bolter. Neither one of them are professional models but they wanted to do something over the top in the fashion genre. I think they may have been watching "America's Next Top Model" episodes and thought it would be so cool to do something like that. Well, I couldn't agree more. Mandarich Models doesn't do much fashion photography. Our concentration is more on boudoir, glamour and fitness photography. I felt this would give us a great opportunity to try something new out that we don't get to do everyday.

The first thing in order was to get some ideas of images that in the fashion industry that we liked in respects to composition and feel. There is a fashion photographer named Stephen Eastwood in NYC that I have on my bookmarks. He does outstanding work, so we looked at some of his shots. We came up with big hair, earthy feel and funky eyelashes. So we informed our make up artist Allison Pynn about it and she was thrilled as she loves doing work like this. We have been working with Allison for the last 5 years and she is extremely talented. Here is the result of our efforts. Thanks to all that participated!
